This sleeper 57 210 had 20K miles and was an original V8 car with an EB code 270 horse engine. I'm not sure if this was an original dual quad car or not as there was no mention of it being documented as such. It bid to $45K.

This 57 Bel Air convertible was an original V8 car and was advertised as being an original fuel injected car with a numbers matching 283 horse engine. It sold for $110K.

This 66 L79 Chevy II SS was sold new at Carter Chevrolet in Shelby NC. It was documented with it's original car shipper and was advertised as having it's original code ZI engine. It bid to $65K.

This 67 L79 Malibu was sold new at Vista Chevrolet in Chino CA. It was advertised as being documented with it's original POP and it had a code ER L79 engine. It had an SS hood added to it, but other than that looked pretty original. It bid to $45K.

This 69 Chevelle SS L89 was sold new at Ammon R. Smith in York PA and is documented with 3 build sheets. It was advertised as having it's numbers matching drivetrain although from the pictures it appears to have had extensive sheet metal replacement. It was a beautiful car and sold for $135K.

This 70 Chevelle SS L78 was sold new at Guaranty in Santa Ana CA and was documented with 2 build sheets. According to the trim tag it was an 11C car and the paint code was 926-99616. It was a stripe delete car and had a CE block. It only bid to $53K which seamed rather low for what it is.

This 70 Chevelle SS L78 was an 09C Kansas City car that was advertised as having it's POP and a numbers matching drivetrain that was correct for the car. It sold for $75K.

This 70 Chevelle SS LS6 was an 02D Baltimore car that was documented with it's window sticker and build sheet. It was sold new at Loggins in Atlantic City NJ. According to the trim tag it was a 19 B car so it was restored without it's original black vinyl top. It sold for $120K.

This 70 Chevelle SS was a former ISCA show car and had a 482 backed by a TH400. I remember seeing this car at the Super Chevy in Joliet and the Chevy Vette Fest in the late 90's. It only bid to $34K.

Pro Street/ Tubbed cars don't bring Squat regardless of how nice they are.....
Most cars at auction are bought by collectors, speculators, dealers, private citizens and Sunday drivers/polishers......who are afraid of them....
Another type of car that brings dimes on the dollar are Supercharged,,,,, Big Blowers sticking out of the hood.

This 70 GTO Judge RA IV automatic was sold new at West River in Hettinger SD. It was advertised as having 2 build sheets and PHS documentation. It supposedly was the only Cardinal Red 70 Judge with a white painted top, but wasn't restored as such. It sold for $57K. I'm not sure why there was such a wide disparity in price on these three RA IV cars since they were all of about equal quality.

This 70 Hemi Challenger R/T was on display as part of the J. Wickey Collection to be sold at the Seattle auction. This car was featured in the April 2009 issue of Mopar Collectors Guide and in that article it was stated that this car was an ex drag car that was tubbed and had a roll cage when it was found. The article also stated that this car doesn't have it's original engine and the fender tag is a reproduction. I believe this car was at MCACN in 2009.

Here's the 81 mile 70 Hemi Cuda that was bid to $450K. There was a build sheet with it and it was sold new in WV. It looked to me like the hood had been resprayed. I'm not sure how much of the car was supposed to be original paint.
