Today was "Grunt" work day.......took the Makita w/wire brush to the bottom of the car....here what it looked like after about a hour........a little bit everyday keeps everything moving

Ken are you taking it down to metal and repainting the entire underneath or just cleaning it up with the wire ?

Thanks Ken...I think Verne would kill me if I messed with the underside !! Its pretty nasty but every inch is untouched original 8700 miles with a nice coat of rust. You can't just do a little...you gotta go all the way once you start.

That would be the smart thing to do...But....I'm out of room till the new Garage is finished and am working with one hand tied behind my back........I'm have to do it the hard way for now......The Garage won't be done till about the time the car should be done (Spring Time).....It would be easier with the body off, but...................

Those 8700 mile cars are sort'a "Special" (even if they have "Truck" engines) and maybe shouldn't be touched...........LOL
