The new issue of Chevy Rumble has an article on the Fall 04 VetteFest. Congrats to Mrs. Hassett for making the article as well as the mention of the sYc at the end of the article. One of these days Ill make it back home to attend.

Ginnie's car is SCARY fast. Really winds up with the Pro charger. About 10 years ago we (three of us) were in it in on an open section of road - punched it and were up over 130 mph in no time flat.

There was a car up ahead, - about an 1/8 mile up as I recall. We closed on that car so fast I was sure that we were going to rear end it. The car really is that fast, and had the brakes that were needed to slow it down.

While there,I asked a man who I didn't know standing next to it.He said yes,it was the real Authentic car.I have heard about this car from growing up here,but I never saw it race personally.It's a Big Block Vega,owned by the Ignoffo Family in Wonder lake Il.
