Re: Ryan Weaver's 1969 Olds Cutlass S W31 Club Coupe
Ryan
Good to see the Ziebart plugs, It may have saved this car from ravages of Ontario salt. Was the car ever fully repainted? Paul |
Re: Ryan Weaver's 1969 Olds Cutlass S W31 Club Coupe
Hi Paul
Al gave me the receipts for Ziebart and he only drove it one winter, then four summers:-) He said he had it painted, I didn't ask if it was partial or fully painted? I think all painted, I want to find out if it was lacquer or BC/CC. Ryan |

I may have some NOS W-31 decals. I'll have a look. When I was a GM partsman, I ordered emblems and decals every paycheque just to have......
I put a short stick in my 4 spd car too for faster shifts. John |

Re: Ryan Weaver's 1969 Olds Cutlass S W31 Club Coupe
This non-Oldsmobile guy is going to ask a question. Is your car a Ram Rod also or is that a different option?
BTW..........this car couldn't have gone to a better person. Congrats again Ryan. Kurt |
Re: Ryan Weaver's 1969 Olds Cutlass S W31 Club Coupe
Ram Rod was a '68 thing but still on the W31 air cleaner only for '69. And yep, Ryan no doubt the man for the car! He tried fighting it at first but all just too cool to say no...now he's an Oldsmobile man. ~ Pete |
Re: Ryan Weaver's 1969 Olds Cutlass S W31 Club Coupe
Ram Rod is Oldsmobiles engine name sake....kind of like the "Rocket" The F85 was the Base Model - The Cutlass "S" was a set up.
The F85`s had the Bench Seat, Rubber Mat, non-hidden wipers....Kurt gets it now. The light bulb - just came on Kurt, remember "El Malo" at last years Barn Find....that is an F85 https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/ubbthrea...od-4#Post575600 Dan |
