Terry and I took the frame back to the media blaster for round two, some small missed spots, and to go over the areas we welded around the two body mounts.
I think shiny parts next week, getting very close to going late to my schedule:-( I need to spend a little time in the garage preparing, cleaning, putting up shelves, etc. Starting to figure out what is and what isn't available as far as Olds 350 W-31 engine build parts go:-) a few experts chiming in on CO:-) Ryan Had a great chat otw there and back:-) Fun!! |

Re: Ryan Weaver's 1969 Olds Cutlass S W31 Club Coupe
Researched a few more rod, piston, ring combinations tonight:-)
Then took a little look at the warranty short block:-) I guess the high school students must have taken it apart as the piston I removed had only the oil ring, and all the connecting rod bolts were barely tight. The engine looks in good condition so far.
