In 1968 Ford built (3) experimental 289 SOHC engines: 300 HP @ 6500 RPMs. This is the only surviving one:

This floor design by UK-based tile company Casa Ceramica recently went viral on Reddit. Installed in the entrance to one of the company's showrooms in Manchester, the illusion stops people from running in the hallways. If that's not trippy enough, the illusion only works when you face the showroom's entrance. The "dent" in the floor disappears when you look at it from the opposite perspective.

They have a problem with people running in the hallways?

British people?

That would be “trippy” -

Edit: upon further review - it looks like the floor in my car trailer...

A neighbor had a '69 RAIV GTO back in '78 and those were body color too.

Now I see a lot(maybe 1/4 or so) of the cars with the inserts painted black.

What gives? Were some inserts painted black like this '70 Judge in the picture and other folks incorrectly followed suit?

That was a feature on the 1970 GTO Judge
