Hello Dave I am not sure Frank has them but I would have to assume they are the short ones especially having the original orange inspection paint . That would be a question for Frank I will ask him

Guys I really need your help...I have 3 original tires and I need 2 more. They are G 70 15 Firestone Super Wide Ovals with the thin white stripe. I have looked everywhere. Please help ..I would be happy to pay a fair finders fee. Doug 614-203-1272

Doug asked for help in posting this video. Might have to turn up the speakers to hear Mr. Weaver's reaction to seeing the 3rd coat of clear.

I just left the company ...The Right Stuff ... it is here in town I am good friends with the original owner Dave Roberts and his son-in-law Brian Aldridge ... I have always used there lines on my cars in the past when we were doing restoration and again they have come through with all of new original material brake lines and fuel lines. Two of us are going over to Franks this weekend to work on the car.
|
We will be meeting up tomorrow with John Weaver again at Frank’s shop it’s always nice to see him and share the new progress ... he enjoys it just as much as we do ... I will post some progress photos this weekend. Thanks to everyone..for their support, guidance and friendships. Our motto is ...it’s always nice to do more with less. Thanks fellas ..I will report back .

Saw the car in person yesterday and I was flabbergasted. The restoration so far is amazing, but the actual condition of the car is impeccable.
Robbin says since you're a male the car is female, so its Wonder Woman....LOL |
Lol. I remember her saying that. The guys were laughing about that last night while playing poker at Franks cabin.
|
The original Yenko 427 engine is almost done...my drivetrain guru Dave McGaffee says it will be on the engine stand this week to break in the motor. Dave and I spend time at the track together...doing 1/4 mile passes in the RG Copo

Headers

The original headers are being massaged by our local fabricator. They are in nice condition to begin with. On the Yenko paperwork John was charged $172.00 for headers and deep tone mufflers.
|
Great progress! Car is looking amazing. Arone is the top tier restoration shop. He has impressed me now numerous times and it just keeps getting better. I wouldn’t be able to stop smiling. :D

Looks beautiful. Are you redoing those headers in white? If so please let us know who you plan to use to coat them.
|
Yes we are redoing them in white....we have a local powder coat company about 10 minutes from my shop...he is very good ...we have used him before with good success. I will report back once he is done...with pricing and completed photos
