Re: Is "stance" important?
Tire tech== Nylon tires flat spot.... Speedway Wide treads for Goodyear.
Polyglas (Polyester and Fiberglas) do not flat spot. Bringing the temperature of the tire up (normal operation) will remove the flat spot. Of course, the fun way to remove this in the rear is to test to coefficient of friction between rubber and asphalt!!!! Less babble, more pictures!!!! |
Re: Is "stance" important?
One I should have NEVER sold. If we only had automotive insight.......
68 SS427 with a L72, 4-speed and 4:10 gears. Was a Motion-prepped car too. Bought it in 72 from a local Guy in Chester, Pa who had just bought 67 Z-28 convertible. http://i141.photobucket.com/albums/r...ps89500e79.jpg |

Re: Is "stance" important?
My mistake! He had a 69 convertible and was adding a 67 z-28 to his garage. Nobody had "collections" back then. Cars got bought and sold like hot cakes.

Ask anyone under the age of 25 what "stance" is today and this is what they would show you.

Re: Is "stance" important?
This now has become a "Go-To-Thread" for muscle car stances. I'm glad there is so many who have contributed to it.
If you can't find it here, you can't find it anywhere...... Has it earned a "sticky"? |
