Thanks to Dan Vasic for finding me an original rubber floor mat! It really looks nice Dan. I cant tell you how happy I am with how it looks!!! I dont have to look at the repo mat when I get in the car. Priceless! http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/g...e/DSC03707.jpg http://i246.photobucket.com/albums/g...e/DSC03711.jpg </div></div> Jeff, Your very Welcome, it`s what this hobby is all about. You and George should be very proud. Your Chevelle is amazing! Hope you enjoy her for a LONG TIME. Garnet Red is beautiful when done right, such as this Chevelle. I`ll see you, George and your Berger Chevelle in 2013. Dan |

That Garnet red looks great. Very nice piece. There couldn't have been very many GR Chevelles. I honestly don't remember seeing any back in the day. Don't remember post cars either. But it was the 60s.

Re: Berger 69 post SS 396 Chevelle
Does anyone reproduce the original shifter boot that had about three folds. They were hard and thick and generally split out at the shift handle during the first winter. At least that's what happened to our cars. Pretty early on GM was replacing them with what you see here. One of those mats are rarer than hens teeth. I've never seen one and the repro we put in our car many years didn't fit the tunnel at all. It was an awful, hard plastic that wouldn't mould into shape. It didn't have the rectangular inlay sections under foot. This is one beautiful car.
