That's cool stuff there.I've got my oldest grandson, same age as Ben I think, welding floors, and qtrs on now. We need these guys to keep the hobby/business alive.

Still at it..... Once we get the welding / grinding work done we can install the gas tank and transition our efforts to firing it up! Ben likes the plasma cutter, although we moved to a cut off wheel on a grinder for precision. We are saving the original quarters, so made some strategic cuts on the tail light panel!

are those aluminum rear brake drums?

Yea! They are from a '78 Malibu, had them laying around so we slid them on. I broke the original drums to pieces hammering them off the rear - a lot of cursing & swearing as well! :grin:

I think it's going to ride like a brick!!! But, Ben will def maintain his 'coolest car in High School' reputation - his black '01 Trans Am, WS6 with Ram Air is cool, but a TR'd '69 Nova with ladders is unheard of these days!!!
