Tiger Promotions
9 Attachment(s)
The Tiger promotions for the GTO started around late ‘64 and ended in very early 1967.
At most every Pontiac dealer during these years you would see various Tiger related items from a Tiger rug, Tiger toy, Tiger tails and even a ‘65 GTO completely painted like a Tiger. A few vintage black/white advertisements featuring Tiger promos. Both my GTO’s came with a toy Tiger from their respective Pontiac dealer when new. Fortunately they are still in their Original place after 55+ years. |
Win this 1966 Thom McAn GTO
2 Attachment(s)
This vintage Black & White photo shows a ‘66 GTO parked outside a Thom McAn store around Christmas time.
The car has Black painted Rally I wheels with Red Line tires. You can see the exhaust resonators which were on All 1966 GTO’s. Also, it seems to have a Majestic license plate frame. The pole next to the car has a large Window Sticker displayed along with other information on this give away car. If one were to own one of these rare cars, it would be cool to have this display duplicated with the plate at the bottom under the tire. |
Great stuff, thank you.

As in 60sStuff. It’s called Love, Dedication and plenty of dig deep research. Nothing like the 60’s Muscle Car Era. Have a Wonderful New Year! Chris |
Tweaking a 389

The boys from Hurst and Royal Pontiac working on a ‘66 389.
No doubt a Bobcat performance kit being added to this GTO. T.I. Coil and bracket with it’s ground strap hanging precariously from the coil wire draped over the heater hose. Whatever works. |
That engine compartment looks brand new. I sure hope that wasn't a customers car with the hardware & tools lying on top of the new painted surfaces. And don't forget to reinstall the starter wire clip on the valve cover!
