COPO 9566 used the 14" SS wheel and COPO 9562 used the 15" Rally that I think was part of 9737 sports car conversion. on 15" cars both of those COPO codes were on the BS lower left Mike |
Thank you. That clears it up.

The SS wheels were standard with this COPO Chevelle.

Isn’t that true of any docs? Jason |
Absolutely, which is why one type of document shouldn't be held higher among the rest.

Sometimes it's nice to find a unrestored, unmolested original car with known history that hasn't been passed around endlessly over the past 50 years.
|
That's very true imo, but a friend always said hed rather have a car w alot of owners because when they own it a short time they usually take care of the car and dont neglect it,and usually they've paid good money for it ..people that own cars for 30 40 50 years always let then sit unattended for most of the time and they are not usually running and are full of mice and mold etc, mostly because the original owner doesnt have alot invested in it ...kind of makes sense
|
I'm just saying that with a original car with known history, You don't have to worry about it being rebodied, restamped vin. numbers or any previous damage from wrecks or rust. etc.
