Fix a water leak in the basement, I found it last night.... a copper water pipe leaking at a coupling:-( above the nice built in shelves Dad and I put in. Attend a car show in Toronto Saturday.... Motorama..... Who will I meet there... Quik9r.... Chuck Frame...... RamblerDealer, Tracker1, Courtney Hansen? But seriously, I am meeting a double recommended engine builder in Guelph Monday after work, I have been researching diligently how to rebuild my W-31....... The Internet is good and bad:-) but mostly good. I have kept a little quiet on this topic as most Olds engine build threads somehow end up a little spicy. I normally try to take in everybody's advice but for an engine build I think I will make a great plan once I pick a builder and share the pictures as we paint it Fusick Oldsmobile Gold:-) (TBD) Also I have a little garage lighting and organization next weekend. Ryan PS: I decided to powdercoat the two Kelsey Wheels Black as they are already different, I can put on a set of sacrificial lambs:-) |
Re: Ryan Weaver's 1969 Olds Cutlass S W31 Club Coupe
did you get a positive ID on the Kelsey wheels? I don't think I can get away Saturday, sorry.

Nothing yet..... I haven't researched it either....... Having a feeling I may just take all the rims in primer, need to pull back on the reins a little:-( Dan put me onto a paint supplier that sells matching Laquer so I may paint a set green myself (this will get me going) Getting myself all worked up about the engine build.... Best to spend all the right money on the engine rebuild than an extra set of rims:-) Bummer, on the show (no show) I will take pictures of all the Ramblers:-) Ryan |
