When Larry Shinoda went over to Ford the first project he worked on was the Boss 302. At the time the styling department wanted cladding below the beltline along with chrome highlights on the rear.. He nixed those ideas. But they were successful in getting them on the 1970 Mach 1 as you can see.

The person who originally ordered this car wanted something special. He didn't want the standard White stripes which came with a White top so he ordered Black stripes under RPO ZP3: Color & Trim Override which resulted in an ultra rare 4 color 1970 Chevelle SS 396
