I think they sold it in the mid 90s. Not sure when they bought it. I heard it went to Europe and is in the same condition

Similar situation w/ the '69 'Velle in the Ron Shafer ad as post #454 on the preceding page, traded in w/ alum' engine in place and car two years old max.

Wish I knew what color exterior and interior it was. The engine was likely pulled in the later 70's and a small block installed when gas prices skyrocketed.

The same cars are often advertised for multiple days so I'll look for more ads in case color noted also try searching the phone # too.
Here's a '68 'Velle w/ ZL-1 from a few pages back, I think there was a '66 or '67 too but may be confusing it w/ one of the L89's?

Sure enough, the seller placed THE HOT ONE ad a few days earlier w/ blue noted although it doesn't say which one.:hmmm:
Most of his ads through the years I tried are for real estate and antiques also a 63-1/2 Ford 390 in '66.
Long shot Rick but LMK if you want to give it a whirl as there's a boat ad complete w/ address also 3x different phone #'s.

Very interesting SS427 ad. I have to say I have never heard of that car or anything similar to it. Would be interesting to hear the story.
