Here's my contribution. This is a snapshot of my car from when I had it out this past Saturday. Just a basic stock stance with a period "day 2" mid-60s wheel / tire combo. Car is a 327 / M20 Muncie / 3.36 combo.

Re: Is "stance" important?

The wheels on the front were just there as rollers because the others on the mags were flat when I got the car. I still have the tires though. Never thought I'd use them, but it sure would save me some bucks and bring back the old look. Those chrome wheels aren't reverses. They're actually optional factory 14x6s from '64 (yeah, Chevy actually did that)
Verne

How'd you like to have to change both front tires in this garage just to get the car out???

I did

Stance bragging brought on this little burnout a few years ago. It certainly got the attention of all the neighbors.....

The fellow that edits the Jalopy Journal has this Riv. Hands down my favorite look I've ever seen on one of these. Stance, wheels and tires are perfect. REAL Borrani 15" wires, Repro 7.75-15 Goldlines. Just killer. [img][/img]

Hard to beat a properly-stanced (and proper wheel/tire) Rivi.

This 69 is one of my favorites. I think the stance is dead on-love the up in the air look-front and rear with a slight rake. Cragars are 15x8 reversed(deep dish) rear and 14x6 front with L60-15 rear and E78-14 front.

I'm with ya Joe...Mother Nature hasn't quite cooperated yet...she's warm but also typically wet...we'll see what this weekend brings. I'm sure you can vouch, that yellow interior really pops in the sunlight against the black.

A different view. BX rear, finned cover, Lakewood bars/4* wedges and all in place since 1974. The stainless 3" exhaust is of course newer. (You like the 1969 Ohio dealer tag?)
