She is a local girl that races every week at the track.. She was there with her father with that Silver R/T... As for the JR dragster: He was a wrench for the Gibb family at the dealership in the 60' and 70' his last name is Herzog but I cant remeber his first name... He was there with the guy who owns Little Hoss... Mark |
Re: SCR8 Drag Racing Shots (and a bit more)
Rick, I was very HAPPY to be a part of the Great "MOTION" display!! It was a good spot and the Motion guys moved their cars over to make room for me. APPRECIATED that. I enjoy coming to the REUNION as my "SON" gets to attend and this year Especially VERY "PROUD" of him for running 11.9 with the MOTION. We were having problems with the HOLLEY 3 barrel and when we got to the motel Jim Johnson tore it apart and made some repairs and assured us that she should be running 11.50's -- maybe next year we will see. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/smile.gif THANKS to all for the Pictures, we have a video that maybe we can post too. GREAT seeing everyone and the cars!!!

Re: SCR8 Drag Racing Shots (and a bit more)
Thanks Sam,
The Lamar Waldon decal explains a little about how he ran so good. Carter 750s, not the stock 600s. Lot's of changes from "stock". In case others haven't clicked on Sam's link, you should.....there are a LOT of other drag pics there! https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...mlins/cool.gif |
Re: SCR8 Drag Racing Shots (and a bit more)
