Re: Ryan Weaver's 1969 Olds Cutlass S W31 Club Coupe
Funny story: I received the quote to media blast and powder coat my frame, suspension pieces and one set of rims, one set of rims just blast and prime.
Although I am confident the facility would have done a great job the cost was not within my budget. Again looking for a media blaster/powder coater semi close to me:-) Ryan |
Re: Ryan Weaver's 1969 Olds Cutlass S W31 Club Coupe
Why does everything have to be powder coated?

Re: Ryan Weaver's 1969 Olds Cutlass S W31 Club Coupe
Have the frame blasted and blast all the small stuff yourself. Then paint everything.

Looking for the bolt on type as inconspicuous as possible:-) Ryan </div></div> I may have one of those bolt-on units here, but will have to check. Took it off a car a few years back, and don't remember if I sold it or not. If I find it, I'll get it to you. </div></div> Sorry Ryan, I apparently sold that bolt-on loop along with some other performance stuff awhile back, just didn't remember specifically. |

I am focusing on long term reliability, I plan to hand the car down from one generation to the next. I don't want my grandkids to have to take the car apart and re-restore it, unless they want to of course. Power coat is better than paint. Ryan |
