I am curious to see what kind of money the 200 Mile GNX brings on Sunday; This is the Poster Child on how NOT to store your classic car. The car has some “Serious Rust Issues” on the undercarriage. I hope anyone who is going to bid on this car got on the ground and looked at it. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...emlins/eek.gif

Even 1 year old cars have surface rust on the undercarriage on items that are unplated...I would expect there would be quite a bit on an 87' model car...Some etching acid and detailing could bring the underneath back up..

I agree some minor surface rust is expected on a 22 year old car; But this 200 mile car was not stored correctly and then they painted over some of it with a rattle can. Mine has a 1000 miles on it and the under carriage still looks new. Someone was willing to spend 95 K for this car.

It killed me watching Craig Jackson tell the bidders that "some of these cars are way under the money." Says who?

It was nice seeing lot 1010, the 71 Black GS convertible be picked as a fantasy bid car. Car brought 138k plus commissions. Not bad considering I believe it was a non-stage 455GS with a Stage 1 455 put into the car!
