Every year, cruise ships carry thousands of passengers around the world. Tourists who embark on a cruise for their vacation enjoy the possibility of visiting various destinations, all the while with convenient access to everything they need at their doorstep—including food and drinks.

It's no surprise that these giants of the seas go through a seriously high quantity of food to satisfy their passengers. How does 3,200 slices of pizza per hour or 10,000 eggs per day sound to you? Some numbers are indeed absurdly high, but then again, these cruise ships do carry a lot of people.

It's not a vacation without ice cream, right? 700 lbs (317 kg) per week should suffice.

15,000 lbs (6,804 kg) per week is how much beef this cruise ship goes through.
