This LeMans Blue 69 Z/28 was sold new at Community Chevrolet in Burbank CA. This car is CHP Certified as an original Z/28 with it's original drivetrain. It has a prototype cross ram intake and fiberglass cowl induction hood. It sold for $130K.

This LeMans Blue 69 Z/28 RS was sold new at Aloha Motors in HI. This car is CHP Certified as an original Z/28 with it's original drivetrain. According to the auction writeup this is a factory heater delete car since it was exported to HI. This car was bid to $125K.

This Dark Blue 66 Hemi Coronet 500 convertible is 1 of 21 built and was sold new at Frontier Dodge in Cincinnati OH. It is a mostly original car with 5.6K miles and still has it's original drivetrain. It was bid to $120K.

This Dark Red 67 Hemi Coronet R/T convertible is 1 of 3 built and was sold new at O'Steen-McCard Motors in Quitman GA to Jimmy Piland. It was featured in the September '01 issue of Popular Hot Rodding when it was owned by Harold Sullivan. This car sold for $175K.

This Black 69 Hemi Charger R/T sold for $250K. I'm not sure why it sold for almost twice as much as the above Charger. They were both 4 speed cars with 3.54 rears. I'm not sure if either of them had their original engines.

This Sunfire Yellow 69 Hemi Super Bee was sold new at Peters Auto Sales in Milwaukee WI. This is a 15K mile car with most of it's original paint, although the engine compartment was restored. This was another car that was under the tents so it was kind of hard to take a good picture of it. It sold for $107.5K.

This Hemi Orange 70 Hemi Charger R/T was sold new at Broadway Dodge in Gary IN. It is an unrestored car with 14K miles and still has it's original drivetrain. This is a 4 speed car with a 4.10 rear. It sold for $320K.

This Lemon Twist Yellow 70 AAR Cuda was sold new at H.L. Moore Chrysler Plymouth in Albany CA. This is an unrestored car with 34K miles. It has a warranty replacement block, but still has it's original transmission and rearend. It sold for $91K.

This is Tom Lembeck's Winchester Gray 71 Hemi Cuda convertible. This car was exported to France when new. It still has it's original drivetrain. The Billboards were added when it was restored. It was bid to $4.8M, but I heard the reserve was closer to $5.5M.

This Ermine White 63 Z-11 Impala was purchased new at Dutch Folk Chevrolet in Akron OH by Joie Chitwood. This car still has it's original engine and was featured in Super Chevy in the late 80's when Don Wattie owned it. It was a Gold Concours winner. G. Pockrus had it at the show.

MRAYS your pics are always great, thanks for taking the time and effort to post them.

As an aside, I've never driven a C2, and of course they're some of the most beautiful cars ever made. How are they to drive? Do they drive as nearly well as they look? Are the 427's beasts?

I drive my '67 390 horse cars regularly and they are pleasant to drive. I have reproduction bias ply tires on them, so I sacrifice some of the ride by not having radials.
