Saw Benny run a 10:36 on Sunday; forget who he was running but, it was just one of the pre-elimination rounds. Stayed long enough to see a few cars run before a Camaro oiled the track down pretty good; didn't want to stick around while they cleaned up the track.
One car that impressed the heck out of me was a white 1961 Biscayne or BelAir with a 409. That car pulled the wheels 4-5' in the air and ran real strong; forget what time he ran but, it was fast. Beautiful weather and some real nice cars. |
