Do the fingernail test in an inconspicuous spot. If it's too soft and doesn't pass the test, let it sit. The paint materials you used can set for a while before sanding. We let the Fig's car sit 2 weeks before sanding/buffing it using the same materials. |

no more body progress...been a busy summer!. I did manage to score a pair of rocker spears..NOS!, with the hardware kits. I have only seen one other set. Samre as camaro but a little longer..

Those will look great on the car. The NOS set I put on my 300 Hard top had nylon clips that were so hard, they would not go into the holes in the rocker panel. I had to find newer re pops which worked just fine. Just be ready for that.

I am creating a "room" in my shop that could/would be used for priming and possibly painting.
I have been waffling for months as to how big (how many CFM) of a fan to install in outside wall and how many square feet of filtered air do I need coming in from LARGE shop, that I can heat/warm up ?? Also in placing filter(s) over exhaust fan how much does that cut down on the CFM rating ???? and lastly what about explosive proof fans versus any other type ???? Thanks |
