Dave, There has been no less than THREE thread started at www.nastyz28.com Guys including myself are appalled, outraged, and shocked how this 71 Z-28 could get created with a 72/73 Grill, partial wrong wheels, wrong wheel color, wrong shift knob, wrong steering wheel, etc etc.

The seller has been aledged to have docs created and in this case the buyer fell for it hook, line and sinker, setting a record price all the while.

The rear spring situation has been recently discussed on nastyz28.

a 4brl Superbird for 200k is ridiculous!?! with over 2k units built that just killed the market on entry level Birds! looks like if you want to go aero than the Cyclone Spoilers and Talladegas are the way to go.

I think they just liked the story with the smashed up nose cone. What was up with the Richard Petty autographed fender scoop? I thought the Stage 1 GSX did well at 150K. Car was not a frame off restoration! Just a stub up resto.

I can only watch so many corvettes going thru the BJ auction. Gets old after a while. I was hoping to see the X go across the stage Friday night.
