Maybe it's just me, but that doesn't look like an original big block SS car. Where are the SS emblems, SS hood, etc.? If it's a real SS396 someone did a good job to make it look like a column shift auto base car. https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif Looks like most of the original interior would clean up nice though.

Someone didn't want any remnants of the Olympic Gold! Some of it is barely visible in the door jams by the quarter window seals! Would still be cool restored back to the original colors. What kind of BB is it then?

You DID say it was an original BB auto, So if its not an SS396 you're saying it's an original COPO 427 then? And if so, you're thinking of putting a 5 speed in it and painting it blue with black interior? https://www.yenko.net/ubbthreads/imag...lins/dunno.gif

Mike, you posted that it was an X-44 a few years back. What was the axle code?
And if it was a BB car wouldn't it come with Disk brakes? Not drum brakes? I say that because I dont see a disk brake pedal.
Help me out here, i'm learning.

Good eye John... I must have looked at that interior shot 4 times and never noticed the lack of the disc brake medallion on the pedal.

So Chevycopo, whats the story on the car?
