Re: Mopar Memorabilia
He has every car from the Rapid Transit Caravan - except one...the 70 Cuda. It is sitting in a garage in the Windsor, Ontario area, owned by a older Gentleman that used to work for Chrysler. He will not sell the car. I'm sure once he's gone (and he is quite old) Steve will be ready to pounce on the car.
The '71 Hemicuda has only 2007 original miles and was bought new by one of the grandkids from the Raleigh tobacco empire. He died in the 1980s. The Hemi sunroof Challenger once belonged to a famous hockey player when it was new. Highly optioned, and drop dead gorgeous. |
Re: Mopar Memorabilia
My friend Rich Laaker had the sunroof car. It was built for Gordie Howe. Rich bought it from a guy in West Point, NE named Larry Maas. Rich sold it in the early 80s for about $85K. We couldn't believe he got so much for it LOL.
Probably a $2 million car now. An unreal collection! |
