The wife searched high and low for it. I even sent her photos of the 4bbl lid I had as a sample but no luck. She came home a day later. They did find another set of keys to the Olds, and some AC/Delco oil filters, too. So that has to get to the new family as well.

Have them get in touch with Scott Winn on the Cutlass Facebook group, he's the go to guy for used parts.

The new owners showed up at the local cruise night last night. I gave them the latest shipment of parts we found up at the in-law's house: a set of Oldsmobile bolt-on rally wheel center caps still in the boxes, some AC/Delco oil filters and a full set of floor mats. They are really enjoying the car. I told them my brother-in-law found more parts and we'll get them in a month or so. (no air cleaner lid yet)

I think it is so cool how you have handled this ownership transfer pre and post . I wish more people were as transparent as you!

Just an update, my father-in-law passed away on 9/3/25 at the hospital. Waiting on details but the service will be in November and hopefully he will be laid to rest at the local military cemetery near Rochester. Thank you to everyone who lent a hand in helping me get the car to its next family of caretakers.

Oh, and my brother in law found even more Olds parts last week while he was at the house. :-)
