Some of that is just excess off the nozzle.

When finished, instead of wiping the nozzle off with a towel, or on their apron, they just wipe the remains off on the cowl before moving to the next job.

That would make perfect sense. KNOWING that the area will soon be all covered up. I knew he wasn't trying to seal anything in every spot, because there are no seams in some of those places. That tool/gun must have been pneumatic. Thanx for the info... D

Yes - correct.

Pretty much everything was air powered.

One exception I can think of is the guy that installed the cab high running lights (RPO U01) had one of those Amish "speed screwdrivers". Since he was unencumbered by any kind of air hose he could work way up the line.

The drive train codes were written on the broadcast sheet. The scheduling clerk then entered them to create the POP.
One of those two people wrote / used P8E18, either out of expectation that would be the code or misreading it.

With all the information and pictures supplied, when this car gets sold, is everything going to be lined-up ok and make sense with nothing to be questioned? Slight number discrepancies chalked up to human error? Thanx... Danny

Just read this whole thing. Hoping you are doing OK with your cancer. My dad passed from lung cancer 12 yrs ago. He worked for the railroad and was exposed to a LOT of asbestos in the 50-60's.
Curious about the connection of the car/seller to your Dad. You said we had to read the whole story and there is nothing here, that I found.

Great car, really like the color combo.
