I am talking about a mid engined V8 Corvair, this one was a Turbo before it was changed over ...

That is a Crown V8 conversion in that car. still has the fiberglass seat/engine cover. by the tail lights its a 65 and you are correct buy the deck lid emblem it was a turbo and it does have the exhaust cut out on the passenger side . would need to se the body tag.
that looks like an old build and has been kickin around for years. good to see they are still out there.
