A bit more on the car. An interesting comparison is that the bottom two holes (from 1st page of thread) match the same distance on YS 8023.

Yup, neither of those could be a COPO 9737. 9737 was a tweaked L78 - neither AC nor autos were available with a L78 so Don had to use non-COPO cars as the basis.

It's actually not an aftermarket hood. It is the original hood that has been cutout. Then a scoop scabbed on the top. It's pretty crudely installed with THICK bondo and cracked quite extensively...
