The pump was installed at the vehicle assm plant. The Fisher Body tag reflects a projected date. A NCRS page would tell you the actual assm date of the vehicle. From what you've posted, I would think...

1967 & 1968 took different pumps. I show a 40470 used on a 375hp with a date code of CG. Then I show 40568 used starting at least HG....Joe

WT is the correct master cyl for 1967 & 1968 with power disc brakes. I've seen several but I think it was determined that there was no date code in the casting. I would look for one with WT stamped....
