It is not a 69 block.
Don had those Yenko blocks cast in the mid-70's.
GM did not let Yenko used the molds in 69 - the blocks were still in production.

No. For 68 and earlier, it was just an RPO.
By 69, they were clamping down on the axle ratios, probably due to warranty costs. Ordering a 4.56 or 4.88 in a 69 Nova or Camaro required a COPO.

In 69, the RPOs are always listed in alphabetical order - not here! Note that the interior is also not listed.

Yup, neither of those could be a COPO 9737. 9737 was a tweaked L78 - neither AC nor autos were available with a L78 so Don had to use non-COPO cars as the basis.

Jan-Feb 67 at NOR and May-June 69 at LOS.

The 1/4 dies cause a wrinkle in the 1/4 and Fisher tried multiple times to repair it....
